Traditional Semi-Flush Ceiling Lights

If you’re looking for classic lighting designs for rooms which do not have high ceilings, then traditional semi-flush lighting may be for you. The vast majority of modern homes, those built from the 1950’s onwards, have lower ceiling heights than most older properties. Although there is no consistent height, governed by building regulations, most ceilings are approximately 8ft. From a lighting perspective this rules out long drop light fittings such as pendants or chandeliers.

Traditional Semi-Flush ceiling lights will generally have a small drop but the gap between ceiling and light fitting will be minimal. This means that once fitted you won’t need to worry about people banging their heads or needing to walk around your ceiling lighting.
